Jillani

the general practice of law, providing cost-effective legal
representation to individuals and business entities throughout
Pakistan. Its emphasis is upon transactions, contract drafting,
litigation, and giving of general advice relating to business
and personal matters. This includes commercial, corporate,
and criminal law issues.
The Firm also provides legal assistance
on family and labor law matters.
The Firm provides affordable legal
representation of the highest quality, by combining the
efficiency and cost effectiveness achievable through today's
technology with the integrity, professionalism and dedication
based on 22 years of its experience.
As with other enterprises, the costs
of operation of a law firm are ultimately borne by its clients.
The surroundings are comfortable and Firm's Office is conveniently
located in the Blue Area in Islamabad. The innovative rate
structure results in cost savings to the clients, as does
the philosophy of the firm's professionals who believe they can
be fairly compensated while receiving reasonable fees.
By 2011, the Firm has represented
more than 1000 individuals and 200 business establishments
at one time or the other both based in Pakistan and abroad.

Billing
Generally, the Firm bills matters based upon standard hourly rates
determined by the professional's legal proficiency and years
of experience.
The Firm bills only for actual professional services rendered while
traveling by air. However, it bills, at half the regular
hourly rate, for travel time by automobile, as such individual
transportation precludes the professional from engaging
in any representation.
Retainer Programs
It may be cost effective for a business to subscribe to
the Firm's Retainer Programs. This Program allows the client to
receive fifty percent additional professional services at
no additional charge. Because some clients' legal needs
are seasonal or episodic, the professional services may
be used at any time during a quarter or as predetermined
by mutual agreement with the client.
A Retainer arrangement, depending on the monthly fee, will
cover a certain number of hours of work each month. Additional
hours are charged at a slightly higher rate.
Billing for Trial Work
Billing for litigation depends on the suit's nature; and
cannot be covered under the Retainer Program.
Staffing
Unless otherwise requested by a client, the designation
of the professional to perform legal services is made by
the Firm, based upon the degree of complexity of the legal issue
or matter. It is the Firm's policy to assign representation to
a professional with the requisite legal skills who will
perform the services most effectively and cost efficiently
for the client.
Where a matter is undertaken by a less experienced professional,
oversight is provided, without charge to the client, by
a senior attorney and counselor.
Contracting Professionals
The Firm can also retain the services, after consultation
with the client, of other professionals (as warranted) for
specific representation. This provides for both increased
flexibility and reduced overhead to the benefit of the client.
Contact by Emails
Use of this web site and contact with Jillani & Hassan
and the attorneys who work for it is subject to the caveat
and warning that the Firm will not provide free legal advice
over the email.
Deadlines are extremely important in most legal matters.
You may lose important legal rights if you do not hire an
attorney immediately to advise you with your legal needs.
The Firm's attorneys may not always respond to unsolicited emails
from non-clients. Unsolicited emails to the Firm do not
create an attorney-client relationship; and the existence
of this web site is not a solicitation of emails.
